Gary Coleman Hit Man With A Truck In Utah - Sept. 7, 2008

PAYSON, Utah (AP) — Actor Gary Coleman hit a pedestrian with his truck after arguing with him in a local bowling alley, police said.

Payson police Lt. Bill Wright said Colt Rushton and Coleman got into an argument in the early morning hours Saturday over pictures Rushton had taken of Coleman inside the bowling alley. He said the argument continued outside, and that Coleman hit Rushton and a car as he was backing out of a parking space.

Neither man was issued a citation, and Wright said it wasn't clear whether Coleman hit Rushton on purpose. He said neither man was giving authorities much information.

"We're currently trying to sort through those issues," Wright told the Deseret News of Salt Lake City. "We've been able to establish there was an argument between the two, due to pictures Rushton wanted to take. He took some of Gary Coleman, and (Coleman) wasn't happy about it."

Rushton was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries and released.

Neither Coleman nor Rushton could be reached for comment Sunday. Neither had a listed phone number that could be found.

Wright told The Salt Lake Tribune there are "indications" that alcohol was a factor in the accident. He was unavailable for comment Sunday.

Coleman, who starred in the television sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes" from 1978 to 1986 as the character Arnold Jackson, pleaded no contest in California in 1999 to disturbing the peace after he punched an autograph-seeker he claimed insulted him.

Payson is 52 miles southeast of Salt Lake City.

I have NO information on Grier. Guess his statement speaks for his "own idiocy!" :>)

I must add that studies have shown that viewers of Fox News and Bill O'Reilly show are some of the most misinformed viewers out there. In fact Pew Research has shown that viewers of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are more knowledgeable about current events than those who watch Bill O’Reilly. That is nothing to brag about when viewers of comedy shows are more informed than those who get their news from Bill O'Reilly.

GreenLady, after suing his parents, claiming they ripped him off his TV earnings, you would think he would have managed to reclaim something.

Before the commercials, my nieces told me they thought they saw him working at the Beverly Center in LA as a security guard. Then, when pictures actually came out, it verified their suspicions.

What I want to know is how Grier can run in Paul Mooney's crowd and do this shyt? Someone better call Mr. Mooney and let him know one of his posse is a straight up sell out. How he kept it under wraps on "In Living Color" is beyond me, and it's obvious he's burned Keenan Ivory Wayans, because that brotha could have put him to work in the "Scary Movie" trilogy or "Don't be a Menace to South Central".

He's trying to stay relevant, like D. L. Hughley and Damon Wayans - who have outlived their shelf life and need to either get new material or pack it in and do something else.

Sorry, Hans, we've had too many instances where O'Really showed out his bigotry.

Like going to Sylvia's in Harlem with Al Sharpton, and remarking on the amazing fact that African-Americans know how to use a knife and fork when eating dinner, and that we actually have table manners and do not shout at the wait people to bring us more “M—– F—–ing” Iced Tea.

And the clips of his show where he's actually saying racist shyt cannot be in terms of “it was taken out of context”. How many times can a racial comment be “taken out of context” before the pattern is recognized as a cover for making bigoted remarks without drawing the ire of the FCC?

Try to spin this again, and bring some fabric softener for the spin cycle, please.
