IMHO – That WAS the case!! We didn't like sarcasm, anger, evil, vicious, vitriol, etc. in billary. ANNNNDDD we DON'T like it in the GOV.

Thank you for your response. I did offer counter arguments and we will see what happens. The interesting thing is while I was with the company they recruited me from I gained respect and buzz because of what i did while managing one of the largest accounts based in the South. Also interesting, or disturbing, is during the interview for that promotion in my last job I was asked “how did I think I would be successful considering I was a young black female dealing with old white guys”. I was able to convince them to give me the opportunity and ended up bringing over $100 million to the company and that shut them up.

I am so am just so frustrated having to deal with this again. I am really good. I'm much better then the next guy (and they are all guys).

I live in Northern California so while I may know better my executive team may not.

Val, I like your idea of suing, but it is a heavy decision to evaluate. I will not be hired again if I sue, that's the way it works. Because of the company I work for they will settle but unless I can get an equivalent amount to what i would earn in the next 35 years of working including interest, options, rate increases which take into account logical promotions I don't think its a good idea.

As far as finding a new job, considering this has been brought up in the only two companies I have worked for I'm not convinced it won't be different elsewhere. I'm starting to think (from looking around) that once you get into upper management the rules change. I now appreciate Michelle Obama even more. I use to think her job was no big deal, she was good and she deserved it. But now I'm learning It's really not that easy.

I've thought about this all day at work and I am not about to hi-5 children having children –Bristol and her shotgun wedding is not a badge of pride for Palin. And Palin is putting alot of folks who are not well off in danger- a pregnant teen with no family to back them up can end up on the street as a prostitute or dead. Palin cutting services for poor teens does just that. I'd like to smack her right now
with my old slipper.
