Greenspan Says McCain's Tax Plan NEEDS Corresponding Budget Cuts

Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) — Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said the country can't afford $3.3 trillion of tax cuts proposed by Republican presidential nominee John McCain without corresponding spending reductions.

Greenspan, a lifelong Republican and longtime friend of McCain, said today on Bloomberg Television's “Political Capital With Al Hunt'' that “I'm not in favor of financing tax cuts with borrowed money.''

It's clear that Republicans insist upon requiring picture ID because it will affect minority and poor voters, and not some noble sense of fair elections. If it were about being noble and fair, they wouldn't be sending lawyers to challenge individuals in the first place.

Every time sincere Republicans try to make inroad into our communities, fools like this allow stupidity like this to go on….

My parents are Republicans. My father has been a big booster of the Party for the last thirty odd years, and can't stand anybody named Clinton, but on this…on this he has just about gone under radio silence about the Republicans this year, and feels that if Obama can get this many people involved in the political process, especially black people, who weren't before, then he is a good thing.

My mother still watches FOX News, but she is proudly and officially an Obama Mama.

I don't know what part of the country you're from, or your real life alter ego is from, but in the neck of the woods I grew up in, the white man and the devil were kissing cousins whenever it came to morality.

Between the 90% of blacks who support Obama, and the 5% who are die hard Republicans, the few that are left are what the statisticians call “statistically insignificant”.
