The gift for the boss was just a general analysis. For my aunt, she used to regualarly bitch about the sheriff in New Orleans, Sheriff Foti. Now Sheriff Foti was the sherifif of New Orleans, for mostly all my life. In New Orleans, Sheriff is an elected office. They aren't appointed, they have to be voted in. Well, no matter how many challengers this guys had, they never got anywhere, because the black population mainly did not vote. In fact, if it wasn't for his own ambition Sheriff Foti would still be Sheriff, but he actually campaigned for Attorney General and won, but believe you me, if he had wanted to stay Sheriff, he would probably still be sheriff. New Orleans, was at least 55% AA, B.K. (Before Katrina), so if a lareger number had voted, then Foti would have been out.
So I used to always tell her stop moaning about it, when you had ur chance to kick his ass out, you didn't do nothing. Now ya got to live with it. That's kinda how I'm feeling about this election cycle, more so than in the past.

I'm casting my vote for *O* regardless of a win or lose in GA. Am I going to canvass redneck neighborhoods for Obama-Biden 2008? Probably not. Better to send my $ to the barackobama.com rather than wasting my time in Ga.

Palin doesn't. She doesn't understand the words coming out of her mouth, and that's what makes her dangerous.

She doesn't understand that you don't sit around and say “We need to fight Russia” even hypothetically. Now let's flip the script: let's say Medvedev was sitting around on Pravda TV and said “We just might have to fight the United States if they attack Iran.” You know everyone over here would be up in arms whether it was a hypothetical or not.

You just don't do that, and that's why Sarah Palin is dangerous and shouldn't be let anywhere near the Eastern Time Zone, much less the White House, because foreign policy understanding is beyond her intellectual capabilities.

I'm shook that somebody even dumber than BUSH could stroll up in the White House. This woman makes Bush look like a Rhodes Scholar.

For every “vote that won't count anyway” there is possibly an actual vote stolen that could have been offset by that original “countless” vote.

Like I tell my aunt Janice who does not vote (but who I actually think will vote this year), if you don't cast your ballot and your candidate does not win, don't come to me complaining about the ineptness of the other candidate. It's one thing to say your vote doesn't count when you did not even enter the voting booth, it's another thing when you do vote and your candidate loses. At least I can say that I did my part.

It would kinda be like if you and other people at work pitch in to by a birthday gift for the boss, it's always the people who didn't contribute “shitake mushrooms” that have the nerve to critic the final choice of gift. That really pisses me off.

There are 3 people I want smarter than me, my professor, my doctor, my lawyer, and MY PRESIDENT. Heck I can't recall the Bush doctrine verbatim, but Palin is a veep candidate, therefore, should of known the Bush doctrine backwards and forwards. All I heard was empty rhetoric and misguided foreign policy. SCARY.
