This is reassuring news, but it should only the start of re-igniting the Party! Some friends and I were having a pity party last night bemoaning the current state of the race. We all tried to give each other feigned re-assurances that everything was going to be all right when inside we're all scared to death. Then the smartest one among us (not me) said emphatically, “I need Senator Obama himself to tell me the fight isn't over!” And she's right!

Senator Obama and his team have allowed the GOP to convince him that his enthusiastic support and huge rallies are a bad thing–all the while doing the same thing with Sarah Palin. As the old saying goes, image is everything! It's time for Senator Obama and Bill Clinton to hold a 'rally the troops' rally. We need him to come out and say to shut our whining up and fight back! In just those words. We need him to tell us we should be ashamed for running scared of Karl Rove and his henchmen again. We need him to tell us to stop listening to the media and the nay sayers who have been predicting an end to Senator Obama's candidacy from the day he announced. We need him to say in the famous words of his late, great friend (and ours), Bernie Mac, “I ain't scared of them mother fuckers!” And neither should we!

Just last week the hater-ass MSM was predicting Obama would not meet his fundraising goals. Yeah right.

Okay, I'm going to apologize up front for reaming you and your friends:

WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED BARACK OBAMA TO TELL YOU ANYTHING????!!!!

This whining has got to stop. The press is all over McCain's lies.
Our 527's are ready to roll. Obama has changed his tone. He has called McCain a liar and is sticking to the issues. Everything is ready to turn around but us. At this moment, It's not the low information voter who is being manipulated.

Clearly the RNC speeches and the negative campaigning have given Obama/ Biden a fund raising bump! All that money carries a message- we are not alone in desire for change, and more people than ever are willing to dip into their pockets (in a struggling economy) to help promote change!

You should have seen Tucker Bounds all pissy this morning on FOX. He claimed this proved Obama was not trustworthy because he went back on his promise to take public financing. LOL!

Again, Tucker is an asshole name. Anyone named “Tucker” is an automatic asshole.

Actually evita, these August fundraising totals are pre-RNC, since the RNC and all their recent over-the-top negativity has taken place in the month of September. So it is going to be even more interesting what September's totals will look like—since Obama received $10 million dollars after Palin's speech this month and we still have the first debate Sept. 26.
I think he is going to keep breaking records as long as we all stay motivated and the truth comes out about Barack's opponent!!!

I'm NOT scared of them mother fuckers or any mother fuckin' body for that matter! Don't like I'm the only one who has been disheartened by the polls and the media adoration of Sarah Palin. Every mother fuckin' body and their mother in the Democratic Party has been worried about McCain's rise in the polls and the media obsession with Palin, as evidenced by the number of Sarah Palin posts on this blog. The FACT is the Obama Campaign, like Kerry before him and Gore before him, got played by McCain. Those mother fuckers are wickedly brilliant at making Democratic candidates ditch their biggest assets.

And YES Obama needs to hold a huge rally to re-ignire his supporters and show them mother fuckers that his “star” isn't fading and that he can pull ten of thousands of supporters any given day at any given time. The FACT is most Americans ARE stupid. The so-called independents are independent at all; they just wait for the media to tell them who to vote for. They vote for the candidate who looks like the winner. Right now the media is doing a damn good job of making McCain/Palin look like winners.

A huge rally will how that his enthusiasm hasn't faded and will go a long way to swinging those dumb ass voters back to him and force the media to stop ridin' Palin's ass.

And I'm already up, out and organized! I went to my son's football game, worked a couple of hours at the office and phone banked (while my son canvassed). So, yeah, I may trow a pity party now and again–I'm human–but best believe I”m not sittin' on no mother fuckin' pot.

I agree Craig. The press and everyone else have been foretelling Barack's fate since he started his campaign. The fact that he continues to destroy all expectations messes with people's minds. This man came from behind 30% in the polls to win the nomination. He has just broken fundraising records. What more do you need to understand that he is not playin' . He is working his butt off and instead of all of the hand wringing people need to get organized and strategize.

Well……I guess something must be wrong with me because I have not at one point during this entire process thought that Obama would not win – and I still don't.

I AM NOT AFRAID – I AM NOT WORRIED – I AM NOT DEPRESSED.

Am I frustrated with the press – yes, do the trolls and republican pundits piss me off yes. But they do not make me afraid or insecure they make me want to fight.

CLIFF NOTES:

Don't act like I'm the only one who's scared of McCain and Palin. Obama is running a loser's campaign just like Kerry and Gore. The Republicans run better campaigns than Democrats.

I think Barack Obama's star is fading and he needs to hold a rally to convince me that it's not. Most people are stupid and they're going to vote for McCain because he looks like a winner while Obama looks like a loser.

A big rally will show me that he's not a loser like Dukakis and that he knows how to campaign.

I'm organizing and campaigning so that when Nov. 5th rolls around and Obama loses every single state including Washington DC I can come back on JJP and tell all y'all muthafuckers I TOLD YOU HE WAS A LOSER!
