All the Repubs now have their new talking points and he is now equating Palin as having more experience than Obama when he clearly said the opposite. Hoping more blogs will post this YouTube momemt on their sites. I think this is the BEST ad for Democrats to use.

In the head-to-head race between the candidates, Obama now leads McCain by 50% to 43%. Last week, the Gallup poll had them tied at 44% to 43%.

On personal characteristics, Obama eliminated McCain’s advantage as “strong and decisive leader”, with a slight majority who now say this characteristic applies more to Obama: 46% to 44%. Before the convention, McCain held an 8-point advantage.

Obama now has a 13-point advantage with voters who see him as “someone who shares your values” over McCain. Before the convention, only a 6-point advantage.

Obama is also viewed as the more trustworthy of the two, with an 8-point advantage over McCain. Before the convention, the two were tied.

He has also eliminated McCain’s advantage on “handling Iraq”, with 47% now preferring Obama, and 46% McCain. Before the convention, McCain had a 9-point advantage.

“There’s a gigantic difference between John McCain and Barack Obama and between me and I suspect my vice presidential opponent,” Biden said at an outdoor rally Sunday, getting ready to hit the GOP ticket for their economic policies.

“She’s good-looking,” he quipped.

Barack is out of the news, it gives his team some breathing room, 'cause even though he sometimes gets more coverage, it's typically negative.

Some people-as I said earlier-would've hated any conservative woman being put on the ticket, as their belief system (whatever it may be) wouldn't have made them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The discussion would still be the same as the one we're having now: liberals would be all up in arms about who had whose baby and who's pregnant now.

Now, I'll admit that I'm not following the McCain campaign as closely as I once was (for multiple reasons), but I haven't seen/heard/read anything to suggest that he was bullied into picking Palin by anyone. It seems like he made the decision on his own; that he feels that she's qualified. People will agree or disagree based on the issues as presented to them. And if they don't feel she is, then they won't vote for McCain.

If all the case against Sarah Palin consists of is her lack of experience, so be it (though I'm not sure that's the best argument to make, all things considered). But from where I sit, the hatred (call it what it is) seems to be more often than not based in ideology that on quality/qualifications.
