The media is the watch dog of democracy, and I hope they are on full alert. In Sarah Palin's first allowed press interview, on the anniversary of 9/11 she was asked if she believed in the Bush Doctrine. A questions designed to see how much she identified, agreed, or disagreed with the principle that the United States can make preempted strike against a nation that we think is going to attack us. A good and fair question for the Vice Present of the United States, especially on the anniversary of 9/11. Governor Palin, had to have the question clarified, and then finally “Charlie” had to explain to her “his understanding of it”. The Bush Doctrine has essentially been foreign policy since 9/11. Governor Palin had no clue what the Bush Doctrine is. During the same day she also talks of the possibility of attacking the Soviet Union for aggressions in Georgia. John McCain's choice of Governor Palin is simply reckless, dangerous, and should not be tolerated. I hope and pray the media has taken notice. I implore you, now more then ever, to ask the real questions that need to be asked. The stakes have simply become too high, too fast, to play any more games. The hour is critical, and our country needs our free press now more then ever.
