Remember that appalling lie from Lieberman's speech when he said Obama “voted to cut off funding for American troops on the ground”? He almost choked on those words, like he was scared to get another talking to by Barack. He's pathetic – I wonder how he rationalizes this to himself.

What do they have to lose by kicking Lieberman out now? They're likely to pick up enough seats to get majority anyway (maybe Reid finally feels solid about this possiblity, given that this is the first time he's ever made a statement this strong). Besides, switching control to the repubs (temporarily) will be big news and maybe we can pick off some of those “strategic” voters who want different parties in the executive and legislative branch (at least those that don't follow congressional races too closely…).

Has anyone actually seen Cheney? I mean an actual physical sighting, not just these suspicious news stories lately with him giving statements regarding Georgia and Russia. I really think Beezelbub told him times up and reclaimed his soul.

You know… What use is it to have Leiberman if he doesn't go along with us on the important stuff anyways? That was a great point the article brought to my attention. I actually went on the web earlier today to see if there was a recall petition I could donate to in Connecticut. I really loathe this guy.
