By the way since you mentioned President Nixon and the Southern Strategy he implemented to win over conservatives in the South, keep in mind that this is the same President Nixon who instituted the first Affirmative Action program in 1969 with the Phildelphia Plan that established goals and timetables for government contractors in Philadelphia to hire minority workers. So I strongly advise you before you go mentioning anymore names make sure you fact check to make sure that every Republican is as bad as you so called claim they are.

Town, answer this one question for me. Why is it that the Democratic Party, which has been running black communities for the past 40 years with socialist policies turned our communities into economic and social wastelands? Justify this for me.

Why is it that Democrats oppose programs that will help blacks get out of poverty, such as Faith-based programs, that Sen. Obama mentioned, but was so rudely disrespected by Jeese Jackson on Fox News. Sen. Obama is correct in supporting these faith-based programs because they would put church-based programs on equal footing with secular groups when competing for federal grants.

Why is it that Democrats oppose school choice scholarships that would help black children get out of failing schools.

Why is it that Democrats oppose Social Security refoorm even though blacks lose $10,000 in the current system because blacks have a five year shorter life expectancy.

Why is it that Democrats support same-sex marriage and partial-birth abortion.

The last time I check before we were Democrats we were conservatives in our valuess, beliefs, and way of life. This is what we as the AFRICAN-AMERICAN community need to get back to. The ways of Frderick Douglas, Fr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Book T. Washington.
