Black people generally speaking, are no smarter voters than any other group. Its why we've voted for the same democratic clowns in massive numbers no matter what, and have scarcely supported (even in ways that don't include voting) candidates or causes which more accurately represent our interests. Millions of black people voted, uncritically for Bill Clinton, and only NOW are beginning to reflect on his presidency in a critical way. Yes, that coon reverand is an idiot, the republicans and fox news are racist, and cater to ignorant racists, but we shouldn't overstate the sophistication of the black voter. Our sophistication boils down to voting democratic, 90% of the time. Our sophistication has us supporting Barrack Obama like he's the 2nd coming of MLK and not being very critical of anything that he does. We act like he's our sleep cell. I dont think black people are smart voters, in fact I dont even know what that means. If black people were smart voters, we'd have voted for a 3rd party candidate in large numbers in the last 2 elections and would now have a viable 3rd party which would effectively force the democrats to the left, as opposed to the right. We didn't and we dont have that, and know all we can do is 'hope' that Obama can 'change' from a centrist democrat, into something better. If he doesn't he will still have the vote of all the so-called smart black voters and their white counterparts.

whatever that means when our options are between people who are compromised to varying degrees.
