The EU has sour grapes b/c their cheap materials are gettin more expensive b/c China has reserves running into the hundreds of billions if not close to trillion.

As I heard in She Hate Me, money talks and b******t walks.

Technically, “The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency” is her first acting role. She nailed it!

I think another problem with the EU's approach is they've had a couple hundred years of genocidal bloodshed and worldwide resources exploitation to shape themselves into these prosperous and stable democratic nation-state entities. Africa was carved up, hindered, and damaged by these same people. Kings were reduced to “Chiefs”, tribes were deliberately set against each other, etc. etc.

It may take another generation, or two, for a number of African countries to close in on a “stable” modern democratic-like state with “human rights” expectations. In the meant time, people need resources and information to survive.

If they are desperate, it's understandable. For now, they have a bit of leverage with China vs. the EU. At some point, hopefully, they will gain more: as long as they never sign a land lease that says “forever.”

I suspect China will win these rounds, because they aren't trying to be “boss man” and push Africans around.

Anyway…

I thought they always had the perishable stuff in those stores…LOL
