Being from Seattle, I do think there is a difference in the white population, I have never been to the east coast so I am talking out my a$$ but here goes. In cities like Boston for example, they have an Irish population that revels in everything Irish, there are German towns and in the Midwest Scandanavian towns.

But out here you are just white and there don't seem to be the neighborhoods. I think this lack of strong identity allows for fewer barriers to other races.

I love Vancouver! Breath taking.

I was had a conversation with a white guy who was from Ohio. He was wondering why Canada didn't seem to have racism like we do. I said we had slavery. He said no way, it must be something else. I was slightly stunned and said no really, the blacks are still kind of pissed about that one.

I think whites have a obstacles in there neuropathways that don't allow them to make the connection.

Exactly….As people stand around the fire singing kumbayaa and welcoming the illegals with open arms they are being replaced by these illegals who will work for far lower wages…

With all the blue collar jobs being transported overseas and the footprint for white collar jobs becoming smaller…African Americans better pull their heads out and start trying to develop relationships, infrastructure and businesses to sustain themselves…

Basically I have noticed over time that bloggers and newspapers with comment sections can't post on this topic without a virtual white flare going up for at least one if not moore white nationalist (the “But I'm not *racist* variety, usually) troll to come and post. They live and breathe for the opportunity to troll on this particular issue. And not only during election years.

Be careful, it can get a little infested-like.
