A black bourgeoisie perspective on U.S. politics

The photo above is of Henry Sylvester Williams — Organizer of the first Pan African Conference in 1906, the goal of which was to improve the lives of those of African descent throughout the diaspora. The conference was reported in the leading London newspapers. The Westminster Gazette observed that it ‘marks the initiation of a remarkable movement on history; the negro is at last awake to the potentialities of his future’. W.E.B. Du Bois was one of the attendees.
How awake are you to the potentialities of your future? It’s time to drop those links and that knowledge in the comments. Whatchu thinkin’ bout?
