Okay, Joe Scarborough just raved forever regarding last night's speech and etc. this morning.

I don't watch Joe Scar...what nonsense flew out of his mouth?

he raved about O. It was very early 5 am CST. But, he basically said that O had given a great speech and that it would be difficult for the republicans to compare their convention to the Democrats. He said Obama have elevated the bar and that the republicans have their work cut out for them. He basically said what we all think which was that the speech was cohesive etc.

And, it went on for like 20 to 30 minutes with he and the panel praising the speech, the set and even earnestly commenting on how O gave credit for his candidacy to his supporters.

Joe Scar is only raving because he's drunk and Olbermann handed him his ass on Wednesday night, so he's trying to save face.

As far as Scar is concerned, I'll listen to what he has to say, when he quits stalling and answer questions about that dead intern found in his Pensacola office when he was in Congress.

And if Pat Buchanan is trying to get into Heaven, he has a lot more to answer for besides praising Obama's speech. Those moments he makes sense are few and far between. Rachel's look was probably asking "How long is this moment of lucidity going to last before he goes back to acting like a shythouse rat?"

We Arabs have had our moments with Pat before, where we say - huh? The world is really crazy when Pat Buchanan is the only one making sense. Somebody said that about Israel/Palestine at least 5 years ago, when P came out with something nobody else would ever say. Buchanan is an unreconstructed so-and-so (I don't want to start calling names here) but.... sometimes he surprises. However this moment is really not to be believed.

Yes, he's an enigma. Sometimes he will come out of his mouth with some unexpected truth or something you agree with (and you're all, WTF! I just agreed with Pat Buchanan?). I gained respect for him during the 2000 Florida ballot debacle where it seemed that people had inadvertently voted for him, to the point that his votes were out of line with the exit polling. He said that he would never want to get votes that weren't intended for him.

I think he's an honest man and speaks from his heart. Which, when you think about it, is scary in light of some of the crap that comes out of his mouth.

You might as well stop waiting for Tavis to join in on the lovefest for Obama; he is thoroughly saturated on the haterade for Obama. Now, I don't give two cents for Cornel West's opinion, but I'm surprised at Malveaux.

My only thought is that these individuals fear they will have NO ACCESS to Obama, so they may as well get their hate on, since they have nothing to lose.

Meanwhile, I read over at the Field Negro's blog that he's thinking about voting for "Mr. Morton", but all the reasons to vote for him continue to evaporate like salt in water. Heh.

I don't even want to know what they are saying. This is a night to be proud of Obama. Tonight he was exceptional. I can't even begin to understand where the hate comes from. Even Republicans have to say, yep he brought it tonight, before going back across the party lines.
