The fact that the State of Arizona was among the last to celebrate Dr. King's birthday as an official holiday (if they do) is testimony enough that McCain turned into McCaint and became McUnwilling to push for a King holiday in his home state, when 38 other states were already on board before the Federal Government.

Keep it Real, Jack. Keep it real.

Now McCain can just drink a six-pack of STHU and make amends by bum-rushing Caribou Barbie and Joe the Fake Plummer off the stage and out of those million dollar book deals they're getting to write more lies. McCain should do THAT MUCH as penance for redemption of sins.

Cant stand the man…couldnt beleive he ran for office.
What a disgrace to politics and humanity! I lost respect for a few of my republican acqauiatances I thought I could respect. (white of course) This whole election has made a wonderful overhaul in my outlook on life spiritually and has catapulted me more into activism on personal, family and community level. Changes I will have apart of. You will see.

I can't wait until the debates this fall–I think McCain is going to get really angry and just look unpresidential. His numbers are going to tank, and I'm looking forward to that. He just can't contain his hate for Barack Obama. From what journalists and aides have said, McCain doesn't even respect Obama on a personal level. That's pretty disgusting. McCain has been no friend to civil liberties and civil rights in this country. I am glad he got heckled earlier this year when he tried to go to Memphis and “apologize” for not supporting the King holiday. McCain was probably one of the folks who was calling King a “communist” back when, and now wants to act as though black people need to hear his phony words. He has been a foe of civil rights, and even this week, talked about how he opposed “quotas”. Code word for–”You know I'm going to make sure minorities are kept in their place if they demand fair representation”.

McCain is not fooling anyone, especially me.
