Yeah, I see your point. By talking about the homophobia that has been rampant in some Christian communities, he has been courting the religious right. By speaking about his pro-choice views at spiritual forums, he has been courting the religious right. By saying that people shouldn't use their religious views as a bludgeon in the political sphere, he is courting the religious right. By rejecting creationism being taught in schools he is courting the religious right.

Oh, and affirmative action. Yeah, I know. The fact that Obama graduated from Columbia University and was lauded by his professors as a brilliant student proves that affirmative action is surely evil. And Harvard, give me a break. I mean, not only was he selected as the first African American president of the prestigious law review, but he only graduated magna cum laude--what no summa? He was clearly resting on his race, or his deep family connections to get where he is.

And what about during the primary season? I mean, he only out organized and out fund raised, his political opponents and built one of the largest organizations that election history has ever seen, but who cares. It was all because of that pesky affirmative action.

She won't be getting a nanny anytime soon. Being able to have it all, raise 5 children, command the Alaska National Guard, and work as a reformer is part of her schtick. It's too bad this will leave her so little time to figure out what it is a VP does every day.

Female speaker at McCain rally: Democrats "shunned" a woman, Republicans embraced one.

Now, we see all the ammunition Hillary handed to the Republicans with her insane drive for power. Isn't it ironic that her conduct could end up helping the party that threatens to take away the rights of women??

I don't mean to get all mystical and shit on everybody. But, I've always said Hillary embodies a destructive energy. Anything that she is part of, fails.

McCain just introduced the next Vice President of the United States: Sarah. The crowd chants: Sarah, Sarah!

CNN reports that the endorsements are rolling in from the religious right

McCain said he's standing up to the corrupt in Washington...does he really mean EVIL DOERS?

Christian religious fanatics are your greatest threat, America. The religious right gave you Bush, twice. The religious right gave you 5000 dead soldiers and a trillion dollar war. Now, they are poised to TRY to give you McCain...a third Bush term.
Don't let them do it!!!!!

Well, I guess we Canadians better get started on that wall on the border....just in case.

Well it's the only way he has any chance of winning. If he'd picked the other white dudes it would've been over. I'd like to see if some of the Republican no-shows will change their minds and show up at the Convention. Everybody fasten their seatbelts it's gonna get bumpy these last 8-9 weeks!

Since when did "executive experience" include being mayor of a small town...or maybe not even a town, but more like a hamlet. There are PTA presidents with more executive duties.

This is Hillaryous. Barack has been courting the religious right for the past 3 years and you're bashing McCain. And without any sense of irony you're saying Governor Palin is the new face of affirmative action. This from Obama supporters, the biggest example of affirmative action ever seen.

I'm already calling this: within the next 10 years, Bridget McCain will write a "tell-all" about growing up MCCAIN.

Call it "Mommie Dearest II", if you will. Because when it's expedient and convenient, Cindy will disown this child, lock, stock and two smoking barrels, and probably even send her ass back to Bangladesh. I'm willing to bet, being cynic that I am, that Bridget's not even mentioned in the last will and testament of either John or Cindy McCain, like their biological children are.

We need to keep fire on where's McCain's Bangladeshi daughter, and why isn't she on the scene campaigning for her father?

Isn't it interesting that after spending the entire campaign so far painting Barack Obama as being inexperienced and "out of touch' with reality, McCain selected a VP with virtually no foreign policy experience....someone who is one beat away from the Presidency given his age and medical history? Is this putting his country first? Where is HIS patriotism?
Notice how they are playing up her "executive" experience and even have the audacity
to suggest that she is more qualified than OBAMA?
The world is watching to see what America does in Nov.'08!

I was about to post the same thing! McCain wants to talk about how he is ready to lead America but this photo is perfect proof of the Republicans perpetual exclusionary tactics. Apparently in MSM media it is an unspoken rule that no one can talk about McCain's family but every member of Obama's gene pool is up for debate. Hell just recently they did a story on Obama's brother that lives in Africa whom he has met maybe twice.

The MSM has discussed Obama's African family inside out but NONE of them will even broach the subject of the McCain's sons or their Bangladesh daughter. C'mon!!!! What about all of Cindy's siblings that are conveniently absent from the picture? WHERE IS ALL OF HIS FAMILY...and why isn't the media even discussing the topic of his family's conveniently lacking visibility with him???? And the MSM wants us to believe that Obama is the one receiving the favorable biased media coverage...we ain't stupid!
