No one can ever convince me that Clinton campaigning for McCain during the Democratic primary has a precedent without some serious proof. I'm only so old. So I can be educated. Neither Jesse or Al ever held elective/gov't office (same as Pat Robertson, e.g.), neither of them were taken serious and neither of them, obviously, were as competitive as Obama but, at the same time, I don't believe either one of them and particular Jesse was basically described as worse than the Republican candidate.

Because they new if Obama won they wouldn't benefit like they would if the Clintons were back in Office but if they made the Clintons mad they would end up with nothing.

I agree.

I wrote a post under the name of Lily that said all of us will never be strong until this country rights the wrongs that happen/ed to black people. That people have always been denied at borders and people have been subjected to genocide but that the history of slavery as practiced here was uniquely cruel.
I am Latine/Native and Irish and I know that I have faced little of what you all as a people face each and every day.

There is sadly a "what about me" type of mentality in this country, I don't see how true equality hurts me.

And I think that is quite unique, unfortunaly.
