DNC08: NAACP Speaks to Jack and Jill Politics

Hilary Shelton, the Washington Bureau Director took a few minutes to chat about his impressions of the 2008 campaign and what he’d like to see in the next administration for black folks. I also gave him a chance to pitch younger African-Americans on why we should give the NAACP another look. What do you think?

Let's make sure that “McAncient” and the Repugs are HIT HARD with these 2 issues!! And that the NAACP REPORTS OUT how the DEMS or Repugs fared on both!! :>) :>)

I know what the NAACP used did 50 years ago but can someone tell me what the NAACP does today? I'm serious. I get the impression the NAACP is merely a glorified networking society for Black business leaders and budding politicians. Hence the reason why so many NAACP officials kept coming out for Hillary during the primary.

Just watched the clip. I didn't hear an answer to your question about younger people. They have no clue, still. Makes me sick. Do you know how many people are with the NAACP there? Any younger voices? Sheldon looks a lot like my father… ]
