Great. Just great. “Gay lifestyle” – that is so not anywhere near what I was saying.

*Sigh.* Never mind. I'd rather not say anything on this kind of thing than say something that invites a comment-reply using the phrase “gay lifestyle” in what seems to be an un-sarcastic tone. Next time I'll just STFU on this.

The SSSSSSSSSnake seems to pop up when a certain person is on the board too (hmmm, the other person was also on a break). I always thought it weird the two always seemed post similar inane talking points right on top of each other all the while engaging mostly only each other in conversation.

Perhaps, I am just being messy and it is just a coincidence.

A haven for terrorist?

Huh, like Afghanistan or Pakistan you mean.

Our military is already strained. We no longer have a draft as you well know, so the miliatry is all volunteer, and I would not be surprised to learn that recruiment is not as high as we need it to be.

While we have been busy keeping Iraq from becoming a "haven for terrorists", places like Afghanistan and Pakistan have become an acutal haven. Not only that, but the perpretrators of 9/11 like Bin Laden are in Afghanistan.

Due to the nature of our military obligations in Iraq, we are getting pummeled in Afghanistan, but we cannot send more troops to the region unless we take more out of Iraq.

And before Obama discussed it in his speech yesterday, McCain did not believe that securing Afghanistan is as important as "winning" in Iraq, now of course, in a "me too" type of manner he is is proposing sending brigades to Afghanistan.

Looks to me McCain is playing follow the leader and contrary to the MSM latest storyline, that is Obama.
