He was really trying to play “Gotcha!” with Obama in his interview concerning the surge and his comments at AIPAC. He just wouldn't let go about Obama saying that Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel.

Agreed that from an emergency management perspective but what about the idea that it is okay to not support infrastructure. The levees . I remember reading a National Geographic article over twenty years ago talking about the crescent city being under sea level and the lack of city planning.

What about the bridge in Mps? Here in Seattle we have a double decked freeway called the Viaduct. We have had more referendums and studies about how earthquake ready it is. It is still standing and acceptable movement is what has been cited. That part of Seatlle is a marshy and mushy piece of land. Much like the Market District in SF.

Yesterday I had to travel the underbelly road of it, I felt very unsafe. I never take it but I was running late for work. The Oakland collapse was 1989. We still have done nothing.

Also the poor in NO are living part of the aspired lifestyle that urban developers want. No transportation of their own and frequent users of the public transportation. Look how isolated and abandoned they were.

It was tragic with a lot of things falling into place.

but if you caught Beloved, then you saw her. Not horror..
She was the mousy one in Set it Off. I know its not horror, but it was a prety good movie.
