People want to talk about the “whiners” in this election, it is the press hands down. I have never seen such ridiculousness out in display like this. They whined about how Obama didn't let them tag along to his secret meeting with Hillary, (so they could create a media circus out of it,) they whined that he wouldn't let them attend other events or fundraisers, and now they are whining about this.
I would have a lot more sympathy for them if they were doing their job, but they are not. The stories that have come out discussing both Obama and McCain have been extremely weak, and poorly researched. Maybe instead of whining, people should be brushing up on some journalism classes.

I wonder if she is still up for VP consideration for McCain. There was a rumor that she threw her hat into the ring awhile back. If that turns out to be true, it could make the election a lot more interesting.

I caught hell too, msmartin. Admittedly, I'm still a teeny bit bitter about the treatment I received from my immediate family and close relatives, as well as 'friends.'
I thank God everyday that he (finally) delivered me, and I told my mother that I hope Jesus returns before she dies because I don't want to go back down there, not even for a funeral.
I only miss New Orleans.

Unity said it had also invited the presumptive Republican candidate, Arizona Sen. John McCain, to speak at the quadrennial convention as well. It had not able to secure his commitment as of late Saturday, Unity added.
In the months leading up to the convention, Unity had said both nominees would speak at a joint appearance on Thursday July 24 that was to be broadcast by CNN on prime time. Last week, however, it became apparent neither would appear, Obama because of his foreign travel and McCain because of what his campaign said was a long-standing agreement to speak at Lance Armstrong's “Town Hall on Cancer.”

As a native New Orleanian and Katrina survivor, I co-sign “Missing New Orleans”.
I moved to Dallas after Katrina. So now Dallas is my home, but I'm always still feenin' for N'awlins. I have plans to go home at least 3 more times this year.

Hey, I'm still recovering. I had to leave a job without one it was so bad. And I have to pray alot to forget about revenge. The Lord knows most folks would want it and they deserve it.
I initially did not want to leave because I didn't want them to win and I wanted to show my strength, but I think God had a different plan for me – he made it so I had to leave to come home and take care of my mother.
Just know that somebody else knows what you went through. People I've known for years who didn't live there can't even begin to comprehend what I described.

But, since I am kinda new to this “point” system – how did my post get 0 points? At this point [cleaver - huh? :>)], even after reading the “directions”, I don't how points are merited. You'd think a “teacher” would know such. But I'm in a whole new field at this time. :>) :>) When you get a minute – could someone explain the “system” to me? Basically everything in Berlin is contaminated by Nazi Past… I sure Sen. Obama will address this in his speech, his staff doesn't miss a thing.

-billary's $25.2M includes the $13.2M she/they/whoever loaned her campaign – SURE! They'll make this up in a few “bill” speeches – uh- spews!

Some how a man of mixed race doesn't seem like the poster child for the Nazi school of thought. Maybe his presence will invoke another incident from long ago—-like Jesse Owens.
