Oh I am convinced that the reason for the fear-mongering amongst the neo-cons is their inability to stop us from getting (dum du-dum dum DUUUUUUMMMMMM)… information! LOL They can't shut up Warren Ballantine, Tom Joyner or Steve Harvey. They damn sure can't stop these blogs from speaking truth to power. We keep spreading the truth instead of buying into the lies….and there is nothing they can do about it…its KILLING THEM. Everytime they put out another smear, it gets debunked within 15 minutes and I swear I can see one of the little minions running back to Rupert Murdoch himself seething “CURSES!! FOILED AGAIN!”

Toni Morrison is a wonderful, wonderful woman..although the 'black president' thing drove me nuts. In High School a precocious best friend talked about Toni's writing all the time….while I mentally vegged out. I was reading Rosemary Rogers, and Erica Jong and other kinds of smut. Perspective is a bitch.

Thank you. Maybe I have been drinking to much of the Obama juice, but I have been disgusted with all of his interviews lately. From Katie, "everyone is scratching their head about your opposition to the surge" Couric and with Brokaw, who should know better, basically giving Brooks a shout out by reading, not paraphrasing, but reading almost his whole article on his "take" on Obama's speech. I was thinking, you have got to be kidding me.

I found his tone extremely condescending. He was basically acting like, I know more than you because I disagree with you, and your opinions don't matter. Excuse my language on Sunday, but this media coverage is complete horse shit. From Katie "I'm not really a journalist, I just play one on tv" Couric, to Tom "why don't I just read the conservative talking points instead of doing objective journalism" Brokaw, I couldn't believe my eyes or ears. Anybody who repeats this false meme that the media is in the bag for Barack is deaf, dumb, and blind.

Before he even went overseas, they were the media was rooting for him to fail, basically waiting for him to gaffe it up, but since he didn't and people have responded favorably to him, they now seem to be trying their best to knock him down a peg.
