I think that the media will play things up like the race is close even if it isn't as things approach election night. I saw Wolf Blitzer talking about the poll results but it didn't sound as positive as it should have been. In fact, I think he said that Obama didn't get as much of a boost from his Europe trip as he could have. They also downplayed McCain's biopsy news and said again that he received a clean bill of health. But when I watched The Daily Show they listed many health problems for McCain. So as far as health goes, they are on McCain's side. I also agree that more press isn't necessarily good press. They are waiting for Obama to make a big mistake so they follow and report on everything. Although they report on McCain making gaffes they never link it to his age or to the mistakes he could make as President. That was an excellent post about polls and how Obama is doing.
