The results of the tracking polls are below. Gallup and Rasmussen poll daily. They combine the most recent three days as one result.
They survey 2700 to 3000 people over the three days. The Gallup showed a 3 point spread three days ago. The Rasmussen showed a 2 point lead four days ago.
Obama has led in the Gallup and Rasmussen since June.

DOD cameras are. Thats about it. The military will not allow a camera in to a hospital b/c of image. Im going to say this again and again until all my J and J people understand that litte Military nugget. Its very much a propagandized society. A camera showing images of wounded soldiers would give the impression of pain and agony. Thats not good military projection.
Let alone there staunch opposition of politics, and what that image may portray.

I really missed Tim Russert on Meet the Press this morning. I'd have loved for him to interview Barack instead of Tom Brokaw who just presented the same old corporate media slant in all of his questions.
Barack, as he is wont to do, handled his business well and didn't allow Brokaw to railroad him on issues like the surge (the surge the surge the surge – John McCain, commander in chief of the surge!!!), and didn't equivocate on anything.
I'm glad he's home safe and sound. I can admit I was worried about this trip.

As D and I debated, the lesser of the 3 was to simply not go. Trust me him going would be a topic worse then Jeremiah Wright in the eyes of the military..its extremly bad protocol to pop up at a base like that one with cameras..
.McCain and Fox would have changed every talking point they had to focus on Barack using the military as a schill for political gain…

Barack had no intention of taking cameras or the press into the facility.
The problem had everything to do with the traveling press corps and protocol for a non-political visit.

No one thinks that Obama needs to visit every military base in the world, and had he never arranged to visit Landstuhl in the first place, this never would have been a problem at all. However, Obama did commit to the visit, and he canceled only because the campaign got into a snit over the fact that a senior military adviser could not accompany Obama. In effect, Obama took out his frustration on the troops that had looked forward to the high-profile visit as a morale booster.
That shows immaturity, a lack of judgment, and political idiocy on the part of Obama and his campaign. All of that is very much fair game for McCain to highlight — and for voters to consider. Obama gave an demonstration of his priorities, and thanks to his media entourage, the nation saw it.
