I hear what you're saying. Judgment trumps experience in a “change” election. Obama isn't scared to talk about foreign policy (actually playing offense on this issue). He's been consistent, for the most part, all the way since when Hillary chastised him for being “naive” last August. That's why I liked this clip . . . McCain's reacted to him, not the other way around. He needs more of that.

That's why I wish he would have given his foreign policy speech in the evening. It's a debate this country needs to have.

I gotta give her props as well. I thought she would have switched sides by now. But she's still got his back. It's odd, next to Roland Martin, she's been his biggest black defender in the mainstream media. . . far better than anything I've seen from the CBC.

Press Secretary? Hey, you never know. I think she'd do a good job if asked. I'd love to see Keith Olbermann take the job (let Rachel Maddow host Countdown). But Michelle would be good as well.

I agree. Obama's positions on Iraq , Afghanistan and Iran (please don't forget Iran and the fact that the administration has now sent someone to speak with Iran after mocking Obama for suggesting we do the same) which have never changed, were on point from the beginning.

The Republicans until now had succeeded in pushing the idea that McCain's experience is more valuable than Obama's understanding of the situation and portraying him as weak and unknowledgeable and outright mocking him at times for what they knew to be true.

It was part of my attraction to him. Not just that he said we should not be in Iraq, but the conviction with which he kept stating that the real war is in Afghanistan and the fact that he does not believe Pakistan is helping as much as they would like the US to believe. He has even gone so far as to say he would invade Pakistan to get to the heart of the matter. I see in him that he understands the dynamics regarding the situation in the Middle East and he is sure of that. He will be better for American foreign policy, he just needs to figure out how to keep them from out talking him.

So, McCain refers to Obama as a “fellow” today at the NAACP. Romney on CNN refers to Obama as a “guy”. This informal, disrespectful language is part of their strategy to portray him a boy.

Faced with the facts, he gets all huffy and tries to change the subject.

Good on Dan Abrams for not letting him do it.

How he could think those poll numbers in Arizona and McCain's response to them by making two campaign appearances in Arizona don't mean concern for McCain is a denial deeper than desire.
