Reagan mastered “stagecraft and theatrics,” and now these m__tha__kas are whining b/c a Democrat is bringing the funk better than they ever could. The real question is can the theatrics translate into results, and I'm giving *O* the full benefit of the doubt.

On a side note, what happens when you move the climax from an indoor arena to an outdoor stadium.

Indoor Arena = Balloon Drop
Outdoor Stadium = Fireworks!!!

They're probably gonna have the biggest fireworks show since the Statue of Liberty's Bicentennial…Problem: The speech will begin at ~8PM Mountain time/10PM EST.

It will literally be sunset…They're gonna have to light up the night sky…I envision a powerful choir singing, John Williams conducting a philharmonic.

if i'm in Denver, I would want to peer up into the sky and thank about all the angels who sacrificed for that moment in time. It's going to be a powerful night. It has the potential to be one of the greatest nights in this country's history. Even as I contemplate it, it makes me…emotional.

For so many people, it is the speech that has guided modern race ethics. The speech, the sentiment conveyed has had an impact on our society.

Members of our society, perhaps you for example, can believe til the cows come home that color blindness is the mode to rid ourselves of racism. [I disagree with this approach based on the 40 plus years since the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1965. ] But recall that is MLK on that day who said he wanted folks not to be judged by the color of their skin etc etc. It is the white liberal who took that to mean… ignore race and the importance of race as a matter of identity and culture- as opposed to MLK's real intention. Don't believe the stereotypes associated with race and give a brotha a job.

So where I can say I have struggled with the heftily cited and misrepresented sentiments of the speech, I acknowledge its importance- especially today as Obama is about to be a dream come true for millions, here and abroad. He is a symbol of hope. So I think it is awesome that he risks his own safety to give 75,000 people the opportunity to be a part of history. I'm sorry that the institution of racism has affected your ability to bear witness to the importance of this day for people of color.

At least this last part is a good thing–because Bush's actions have only killed less than half the number of folk Hitler did.
