We did make it to the weekend. But, before we can fully participate in the weekend fun, gotta make it through Friday.

I have an albino brother who was terribly abused by my mother's 2nd husband, and she let it happen which made her as guilty as her wicked spouse.

The press core did not appear with Obama when he visited soldiers in Afghanistan nor Iraq. Andrea Mitchell commented on the absence of the press core the entire time he was in Afghanistan and Iraq. So, the absence of the press core was not a problem for the Obama campaign!

On Morning Joe, Andrea Mitchell reported that the Obama campaign felt as though they were being leaned on especially hard by the Pentagon. She hinted that the Obama campaign thought that McCain’s supporters in the Pentagon were pushing this tight reading of the regulation.

Correct, and those are the rules. Obama and the campaign set up the visits to military installations before going overseas.
“After seeing how the media got excluded in Iraq and Afghanistan, they decided it wasn’t worth traveling to Ramstein and Landstuhl to visit the severely wounded troops because they couldn’t bring the campaign and get the photo ops they wanted.“

You’re going in circles here, in an effort to clear Obama of snubbing our wounded Troops. The Military rules apply to everyone…the rules – “keep politicians from exploiting military facilities for political reasons, and to ensure that all visitors get treated fairly”.
Obama could’ve visited the wounded Troops, with “two or three of his Senate staff member” AND the “military photographers would be permitted to record Obama’s visit.” Obama “was more than welcome. We were all ready for him.”
Military photographers were not good enough for Obama and his campaign because this trip was about photo ops, i.e. fantasy photos, carefully staged and then masqueraded as news with the help of the media.
