Well put, and Democrats will also be well represented in that parade. Bush’s legacy will focus strongly on his steep slide in approval polls. Obama could well be in for the same ride. Worse still, after four years of Obama, the racist tag applied to his detractors could become so diluted that ‘racist’ will have no meaning for anyone. Then again, that latter point already has a substantial head start.

Could we start a "Back to Europe" movement for those melanin-deprived Americans who flock to these groups?? Perhaps they'd feel better if they could all live together, somewhere in a frozen landscape somewhere, far, far, far away from anyone who doesn't look like them?

There will be a whole parade of stupid that won't end even after President Obama moves into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. But there is a new majority making its voice heard in our country. Someday these bigots and fearmongers and whatever else we should call them will die out. They have to. Our world will not survive if we revert to backwards thinking.

I think we have to be vigilant. Some of these people are dangerous. But we do not have to live in fear. Love is stronger than hate.

I propose that we lockup these idiots in Guantanamo for about 8 years or so.

They can join civilized society after Obama leaves office.
