Should've used a better picture. Like that one where Barack is whispering in her ear. IMO that would probably solve the problems right there. Although maybe it's too much for the cover.


That picture is probably too scandalous to use on the cover LOL. It practically screams "yes our sex life is hotter than ever, thanks for asking." But then again it would be a refreshing change to have a First Couple that sleeps with each other instead of other people.

If they (the Obama campaign) are doing a makeover of Michelle’s image, then apparently they see a problem. She’s out giving speeches for the campaign…so, what she says counts, even if she isn’t running for office or a “policy position”.



Basically, my point was - why try to hide what she really thinks? I think many Americans were surprised by what Rev. Wright taught through TUCC, i.e. the Black Liberation Theology. Michelle has clearly been influenced by such racist teachings. Barack lies about its influence on him.



I blame a lot of this on the Democratic Party’s agenda of pushing divisive and “Identity” politics. They have promoted hatred for decades…hatred of the “RICH”…hatred of “B-I-G Corporations”…hatred of Capitalism, etc. Black Liberation Theology is apparently an offshoot of the Democrat’s promotion of hatred. Watch out for Elizabeth Hasselbeck. She's a BIG fan of Faux News channel, especially Sean Hannity. Bill Geddie, the producer of The View, is a die-hard Republican and tells Elizabeth what to say.

Why should she change? I say be yourself Michelle. The majority of Americans will appreciate that.

Well I saw a Faux News report that was critical of McCain wife #2's penchant for stealing recipes. I couldn't believe it! On Hannity & Colmes no less. I wouldn't buy into some articles that paint a picture of Michelle having to change who she is or deciphering her moods. There are articles that claimed Oprah's ratings were going down due to her support of Obama instead of having a balanced discussion about how all mass media has taken a hit in ratings - even Faux news. She clearly knows how to be personable and speak to large swaths of people. She's been doing it this entire campaign season. She doesn't come across as direct as Hillary was when Bill first ran and she doesn't talk about herself incessantly like Tyra. I'm sure she's fine and will be fine on tomorrow's show. It's the View people not Meet the Press - which is where I'd love to see her.

It's sad that Michelle has to have a fullblown staff for her "image". But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. The GOP is so desperate. They can't seem to find anything to attack Obama on, so they attack the people next to him. I wonder if they'll do the kids next.

Karmi- what are you talking about? She grew up with different circumstances and so she expresses her views in a different way. I don't think there's a problem and since she's not running for a policy position who cares?

She needs to learn how to knitt, bake cookies and keep her trap shut. America likes stepford wives. Give the people what they want.

Yes TruthSeeker, I agree. This article made me cry. I feel so sad for Michelle who seems in danger of losing her spirit because some cannot accept her the way she is.



I was particularly distressed by the above quote “all she has to do is be likeable”. The unspoken assumption being that Michelle has to change to be liked or acceptable.



I hope MIchelle doesn’t allow herself to become “Stepfordized”. What a terrible position to be in. One must wonder if patriotism for ones country or love for ones spouse requires such sacrifice.

Put that annoying Black woman sass away and you'll be fine. Oops, she's a black woman from Chicago, that might not be possible.
