I have an idea regarding the long voting lines:

To be prepared for this, have as many people as possible bring folding chairs with them, and have others bring extras, labelled with their name and address.
Also have a mobile tea, coffee and sandwich service set up - free, but request donations from those who can afford it.
Arrange for a secure guarded child care site, with responsible child care personnel.
Ensure toilet facilities nearby and instructions as how to get there. Hire a mobile toilet, if need be, with hand washing facilities.
Consider possible volunteer entertainers.
Remind all voters that they will be deciding their own future for many years to come.
Have a sign up:

WE CAN VOTE! YES, WE CAN!

SE PUEDE VOTAR! SI SE PUEDE!

Sincerely,

Ian Campbell Cree, MB(Hons.), MS, FRCS(Eng. & C.), FACS, LRCP.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use Windows Live Messenger to send messages to your buddies on their mobile
