Out of the hordes of ‘people’ that are involved in Ashanti’s career, not ONE SINGLE person put their hand up and said “ummm, I think this may piss people off?”

All publicity is NOT good publicity – I can’t see this inspiring people to buy Ashanti’s album.

Oh dear, I’ve never heard of these people. Being an old fogie sucks.

I can see how Ashanti may have let her career go, but give Rihanna a break. She’s out there, and doing pretty good. Plus, anytime your record label’s TOP DAWG is reduced to “Damn Homie, High School you was the man homie, F- happen to you?”
A hot one line, you may be on the wrong team. 50 put a very succesful Hit Job on Murder Inc. and from that point out nobody from that label was able to recover…

Plus if were really being honest, Beyonce was also one of those who dropped in the Early 2000’s. She crushed most everybody. A. Keyes being a rare exception.

Ciara can dance and Rhianna took her weave out! Now Cassie…ugh she is definitely effing for tracks hence the photos of her and what’s his name on Mother’s Day no less. Now we’re giving Ashanti more press coverage than she’s gotten in years. The producers and writers are to blame for the equally crappy material with which they perform hence the gimmics. Palow Da Don can only use but so many GarageBand loops to create his masterpieces.

Okla. Dem calls Obama liberal, declines to endorse

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Democratic Rep. Dan Boren of Oklahoma said Tuesday Barack Obama is “the most liberal senator” in Congress and he has no intention of endorsing him for the White House.

However, Boren will vote for Obama at the Democratic National Convention in Denver in August and will vote Democratic on Nov. 4.

“I think this is an important time for our country,” Boren said in a telephone interview. “We’re facing a terrible economic downturn. We have high gasoline prices. We have problems in our foreign policy. That’s why I think it’s important.”

Boren, the lone Democrat in Oklahoma’s congressional delegate, said that while Obama has talked about working with Republicans, “unfortunately, his record does not reflect working in a bipartisan fashion.”

LOL, Me, too. Everytime I hear a joke about a weave, it reminds me of Sinbad.

I don’t expect much from Ashanti, though. She’s a product of marketing — like Rihanna, Ciara and Cassie, other no-talent chicks who would be nowhere without marketing and a weave.

Anything to sell records these days? These young women don’t even respect themselves; how can we expect them to respect our children with those booty-shaking videos? Ashanti wants to get paid and doesn’t care how she goes about it.
