That’s a cop-out. I have NEVER considered the question. Automatically considering the question is not critical thinking, it’s paranoia. He wants to back the winning side. He's made a substantial investment? I mean Rupert Murdoch is supporting Hillary so they both have billionaires supporting them. Of course Obama has Oprah too. Buffet's support doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. He is giving away the bulk of his fortune to charity and doesn't financially support his offspring.
