So (maybe) 2118 delegates will be needed to win. <br/><br/>Everyone keep in mind, when FLA and MI voted, Obama was virtually unknown, a "second-tier" candidate. He had no time to INTRODUCE HIMSELF to FLA and MI, since he was courteous and gentlemanly and totally abided by the Democratic Party rules. He didn't even have his name on the Michigan ballot. <br/><br/>The Party can do what it wants on May 31, but I believe the Obama campaign position should be: "our candidate totally respected your rules, and played fair, from Day One. We will not agree to any compromise you come up with on FLA and MI. We can't stop you from changing the rules, but we won't pretend to agree with it in any way shape or form. Our position is, very simply, that we played by the rules from Day One, we're proud we did that, we expect that whoever wins gets to pick their own Vice Presidential running mate, and that's ALL WE HAVE TO SAY." <br/><br/>Sorry to be "negative"... I enjoyed Obama's speech in Iowa, and his family looked fantasic. But don't break out the champagne yet.
