McCain and Obama both have work to do to win this election, but the King of Righteous Indignation and his supporters better get ready to have their candidate scrutinized and criticized for his inexperience, liberal voting record and his questionable judgment in foreign affairs during a time of war.

The Republicans have picked the best candidate to run in this political climate. He has strong appeal with moderates and independents who are familiar with his proven record of working across party lines on issues and who do not want a precipitous withdrawl from Iraq. He can attract Reagan Democrats and Latinos.

While Democrats struggle to unify their polarized party, McCain can begin to siphon off votes from Hillary’s base.

When Obama gets through with him, McCain will be curled up on his mother’s lap in a fetal position sucking his thumb.

Ahmadinejed is not a danger?

Again, not a serious rebuttal from Obama supporters here.

“Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that the state of Israel is a “stinking corpse” that is destined to disappear, the French news agency AFP reported.

“Those who think they can revive the stinking corpse of the usurping and fake Israeli regime by throwing a birthday party are seriously mistaken,” the official IRNA news agency quoted Ahmadinejad as having said.

“Today the reason for the Zionist regime’s existence is questioned, and this regime is on its way to annihilation.”

Ahmadinejad further stated that Israel “has reached the end like a dead rat after being slapped by the Lebanese” – referring to the Second Lebanon War in the summer of 2006.”

Knowing that Obama would be that kind of a President, would be a reason I could pull the lever for McCain.

I haven’t said a word about Republicans. As for Mrs. Nixon, I don’t hate her. She’s simply not important enough to hate. Never has been; never will be.

I could skewer your arguments with a single articulate sentence, but I refuse to cast my pearls before swine.

History will come home to roost!

Why not let things play out as you predict…smug in the knowledge your candidate will win?

McCain is an empty suit. He has no original ideas that rise to the occasion of the times. He follows the failed template of Bush. The America people are ready and awake and have no patience for your foolishness! They are losing their houses and Republicans are fighting the same lame battles.

Still, Obama has no experience, poor judgment and a scant, very liberal voting record, that is of concern to many, (gasp!) white, reasonably educated, free-thinking , moderate, independent voters.

Better come up with a better rebuttal if you want the election to be about more than race.

Wait a minute:

They ARE Hillsary Rodham Nixon.

This is her vengeance on the Black voters who have rejected her like a scourge.

Pitiful.

Meanwhile, John McCain is calling out your candidate for being a hypocrite who lacks the judgment and experience to lead the country:

It is important to focus on what Senator Obama is attempting to do here: He is trying desperately to delegitimize the discussion of issues that raise legitimate questions about his judgment and preparedness to be President of the United States.

Senator Obama has good reason to think this plan will succeed, as serious journalists have written of the need for ‘de-tox’ to cure ’swooning’ over Senator Obama, and others have admitted to losing their objectivity while with him on the campaign trail.

Today, Senator Obama is complaining about comments John McCain made about a senior Hamas advisor stating that Hamas would welcome Senator Obama’s election as president. Indeed, on April 13th, senior Hamas political advisor Ahmed Yousef said, ‘We don’t mind – actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance.’

The McCain campaign has never suggested that Senator Obama supports Hamas’ agenda, but it is more than fair to raise this quote about Senator Obama because it speaks to the policy implications of his judgment.

Just today, the president of Iran, whom Senator Obama wants to meet with unconditionally, called the state of Israel a ’stinking corpse.’ Iran is the paymaster and state sponsor of Hamas.

In his victory speech this week, Senator Obama stated that ‘wisdom’ is meeting with our enemies, including Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, North Korea’s Kim Jong Il, Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez and Cuba’s Raul Castro. John McCain couldn’t disagree more. Rather than giving tyrants and dictators the prestige of meeting with an American president, John McCain will instead meet with the champions of human freedom around the world and opposition leaders fighting for liberty .

We understand why Senator Obama doesn’t want to engage in a debate over leadership and judgment with John McCain, but the American people demand that debate take place.

These are serious times that call for a serious debate on the profound issues facing our future. John McCain is ready for that debate and we hope Senator Obama will one day get serious and join it.
