The only thing about O at the synagouge is the fact that so many Jewish folks have admitted that they won’t vote for him becuase he is black a la Applachia. Oh well, they can cast thier lot with McCain and Hagee.

I’m not surprised Obama did well at the synagogue.

I believe that blacks can spot a prejudiced person real fast, and I believe Jews can spot an anti-semite real fast. I guess this is true of all minorities. I am happy to say, Obama does not have an anti-semitic bone in his body. He’s a good guy.

He postponed the meeting, but he kept it. His introduction came from a congressman who grew up in that Synagogue.

He also spoke about healing the relationship between Jews and Blacks.

But it was the question/answer session where he shined.

A Republican shill with a written statement he claimed came from his daughter was all about his "toxic" associations and it went on for a long time. The crowd was trying to shut him up, but Barack encouraged him to keep on going.

And when he finally responded, he hit the ball out of the park.

I'd love to have seen the look on the guy's face as Barack made him look like a fool a garnered much applause.

I was impressed.

Yeah. I’ve been hearing the same thing too about the Synagogue.

He flew to Washington to vote for the GI Bill and then flew back to Florida for the town hall meeting. He didn’t cancel. Kept his meeting.

I saw portions of that speech and at first I was a little concerned because he looked a little nervous (and understandably so) and seemed to be focusing on his notes a bit much, but then he let loose in true Barack fashion and spoke from his heart and did a wonderful job.

from what I've been reading, that's one of the most influential Synagogues in Florida.

There was a poster over at The Field delivering word from friends of his who attended the Town Hall. This poster's friends believed it went very well for Obama.
