There is one thing that Clinton fears the most: that America will actually get to see more of the thoroughly decent and intelligent Barack Obama.

I know it’s easy for me to say and hard for him to do, but Obama has to continue to be the nice guy (which of course comes naturally to him anyway), and (alas) he simply must plan to fight both HIllary and McCain at the same time for the next 6 months.

AT this point I’m more concerned about Michelle and the girls’ safety. If anything happened to them, that would be the one thing that would set Sen. Obama off.

I agree. Anything happening to his family is the one thing that I believe would finally bring out ‘The Angry Black Man’.

That’s just it—she’s NOT a decent
person. I am TRULY convinced that she and Bill are sociopaths. They
should be thankful Obama more or less gave her a pass. At the very least they should have dropped the subject in it’s entirety! Instead,
they place the blame on him. It is generally considered smart to go on the offense politically, but this is so much more than that.

Every excuse given on her behalf involves somehow getting into Hillary’s head and understanding her soul in such a way that would never allow for her to think such evil thoughts.

Only problem is her WORDS spoke of said evil thoughts. This was not the first time she’s said such evil thoughts. Her slogan, “anything can happen” is consistent with such evil thoughts. And her refusal to appologize to Obama (or recognize the serious threat this poses to his safety) gives the impression that she doesn’t care whether such evil thoughts have deadly consequences for Obama and his family.

If she were a decent person, she’d realize that this isn’t really about her. She’d do everything in her power to dispel such evil thoughts. She’d understand that allowing this to fester only raises the threat towards Obama’s security. . . even the security of his wife and children.

Instead she keeps fanning the flames. She can’t see beyond herself at this point. She gives the impression that nothing. . . not even death itself, is more important to her than self-pity. No, she does everything in her power to keep the focus on her and her victimology.

She blames Obama for her words. . .

She refuses to apologize. . .

She, once again, paints herself as the victim.

She still doesn’t get it. It’s not a matter of intent, but effect. The effect of her statement made the idea of assassination a common theme in our national discourse over the past four days. She started the conversation. Regardless of intent, she should see it as her responsibility to end it.

As I read some of the comments, I sense that some do not understand the true impact of her deadly insinuation. Keep in mind, when it was first announced that Obama was running for President, the initial concern in Black America was his safety. “Would some nut sniper him”? Obama had to hire secret service security right out of the gate…..why? Because of the true possibilty of some nut doing harm to him or his family.

Also, during the last 50 years, the people who have been assassinated have ALL been leaders who were working toward equality for ALL. John F., Robert and of course Dr. King. So just the WORD assassination brings to us not only an extreme fear but is a reminder of the incredibly sad loss to America, particularly Blacks, at the hands of the sick and wicked. For Hillary Clinton, a so-called leader, to insinuate, for WHATEVER reason assassination….is beyond disgusting. It subliminally sparks the hatred, bigotry and destruction that most Americans have worked so hard to overcome.

But it is flatly untrue, and it is not anything that I am entertaining. It is nothing I have planned. It is nothing that I am prepared to engage in. I am still vigorously campaigning. I am happy to be here. Looking forward to campaigning here. Going to Puerto Rice tomorrow and I expect to be back here before the election. But this is part of an ongoing effort to end this before it’s over. I am very heartened by the strong support that I’ve shown in Kentucky and West Virginia just in the last two weeks. They sure don’t think it’s over. I don’t think the people who are here in South Dakota looking forward to vote think it’s over and I sure don’t think it’s over. Neither of us has the number of delegates needed to be the nominee and every time they declare it, doesn’t make it so. Neither of us do. I’ve never seen anything like this. I have, perhaps, a long enough memory that many people who finished a rather distant second behind nominees went all the way to the convention. I remember very well 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, where some who had contested in the primaries were determined to carry their case to the convention. I’m ahead in the popular vote. Less than 200 delegates separate us out of 4,400. Michigan and Florida are not resolved. No one has the nomination, so I would look to the camp of my opponent for the source of those stories.

EB: Well, I was just going to ask, one presumes that’s where it originates.

CLINTON: I would think so. But that’s been the pattern for quite some time now. Honestly, I just believe that this is the most important job in the world, it’s the toughest job in the world. You should be willing to campaign for every vote. You should be willing to debate anytime, anywhere. I think it’s an interesting juxtaposition where we find ourselves. I have been willing to do all of that during the entire process and people have been trying to push me out of this ever since Iowa.

EB: Why?

CLINTON: I don’t know. I don’t know. I find it curious because it is unprecedented in history. I don’t understand it. Between my opponent and his camp and some in the media there has been this urgency to end this. Historically, that makes no sense, so I find it a bit of a mystery.

EB: You don’t buy the party unity argument?

CLINTON: I don’t because, again, I’ve been around long enough. You know my husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. You know, I just don’t understand it and there’s lot of speculation about why it is, but . . .

EB: What’s your speculation?

CLINTON: You know, I don’t know, I find it curious and I don’t want to attribute motives or strategies to people because I don’t really know, but it’s a historical curiosity to me.

EB: Does it have anything to do with gender?

CLINTON: I don’t know that either.

Bill Clinton: I have never seen anyone be so disrespected just for running (talking about Hillary).

Yet Billary and their cronies have constantly disrespected Obama for running since day one!

I guess that’s what “Ready on Day One” really means: ready to act like a crazed 2 year old if they don’t get their way.

The Clintons are now the classical definition of evil: they care only for themselves and are willing to destroy others.

It’s time to vomit them out and shut down her campaign. At this point all they do is lie and insult our intelligence.

ABC News’ Eloise Harper reports: Since the Pennsylvania primary Sen. Hillary Clinton has been calling for a debate with her opponent, Sen. Barack Obama.

She continued her plea in Penuelas, Puerto Rico, standing outside a restaurant while less than 100 people gathered on a dirt walkway. Obama has rebuffed these requests and has instead begun campaigning in states that would be important for him in the general election if he becomes the Democratic presidential nominee.

“I was informed that Univision will sponsor a debate between Sen. Obama and myself about the issues affecting Puerto Rico,” Clinton said. “I accept that invitation. Anytime, anywhere. That is the best way for the people of Puerto Rico to have their questions asked and answered and for the rest of the United States to learn more about Puerto Rico.”

Clinton reiterated her claim that she feels as though she has been a senator for Puerto Rico, because she represents so many of then in New York.

“I feel as though I have been your senator and now I want to be your president,” she said.

First, Hillary continues to say that Bill didn’t wrap up the nomination until June of 1992. WRONG. After he won the New York Primary in March, the race was practically over. Jerry Brown was far behind him in delegates and Paul Tsongas dropped out.

As for Hillary being “disrespected,” Bill, you could earn a degree in disrespecting Hillary. Does Gennifer Flowers and a semen-stained dress mean anything to you, hello?

I wander if Fox plans on doing the same or something similar to Liz Trotta??

What pisses me off about it is the flippant nature inthe way she said it. I couldnt agree more with earlier comments to blow this up.

A. It shines a light on Fox for being the shallow bunch of right wing racist they are.

B. It keeps negative press on Hillary.

Bitter was dropped on a friday and still haunts Barack a month later.
Maybe this will be her bitter.
