According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics 2004 report (released May 2006), blacks commit 54 percent of the homicides in America even though they constitute only 12 percent of the population.

An individual black male is seven times more likely to commit murder than an individual white male. It so happens that black felons commit 43 percent of aggravated assaults, 66 percent of armed robberies, 27 percent of rapes and 85 percent of interracial crimes of violence, mainly against whites (this last figure from a Justice Department report 2003). However, it’s not just in the United States. The greatest dicators in recent years have emerged in Africa. People like Idi Amin of Uganda, Hastings Kamuzu Banda in Malawi, Mobutu Sese Seko, in Zaire, self-anointed Emperor Bokassa of the Central African Republic, Mohammed Saidi Barre in Somalia, Sani Abacha of Nigeria, Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe — the list is endless.

Blacks are dumber as well, statistics analyzed by the New York Times (July 4, 1999) dispel the poverty argument by establishing that impoverished white children whose parents earn less than $10,000 a year score higher on standardized SAT tests than black children whose parents earn more than $70,000 a year. Also, nearly 70 percent of black children are born out of wedlock.

I sent Obama double donation from my budget this month. I wasn’t expecting (like Obama camp) for a PA win, but at least he wasn’t beat by double digits. The majority of posts have been spot on. The Clintons made deals and passed legislature that worked to the detriment of its people. They would have you believe that because the working-class man made a few dollars more that they were good for him.

While the average man made a $1,000 more a year while they were in office, their friends and allies made millions a year while they were in office and they made hundreds of thousands more a year after they left office based on the allegiances they made while they were in office.

I think it is time for SBO to drive his message hard. It is time to just tell the common man exactly what he means.

Run in Guam, run in North Carolina, run in Indiana. Run in each and every one of the nine contests that are left.

Then make some states do their contests over.

Should Barack Obama’s victory in Vermont really count? I don’t think Vermont is actually a state. I think it is technically a socialist republic. Have somebody check this out.

And Obama’s victory in Alaska? Are you kidding me? They let caribou vote in Alaska.

And do some other stuff that levels the playing field: Raise the voting age to 65 in all the remaining contests, for instance.

You do great with this group, Sen. Clinton. Younger people don’t really care about who becomes president anyway. All they want to do is go on this World Wide Interweb thing that they keep talking about.
And while you are at it, Senator, cap all salaries at $50,000 a year, take away all college degrees and give everybody a gun. The demographics are clear: That is your base vote.

Also, no men get to vote unless they have a note from a woman saying they are mentally competent. (Good luck with that!)

And, Sen. Clinton, keep portraying yourself as a sympathetic underdog. That works much better than when you were the inevitable overlord.

In Haverford, Pa., last Thursday, you told the crowd: “Just knock on the door and say, ‘You know, she’s really nice.’ Or you could say it another way: ‘She’s not as bad as you think.’”

It is a theme that worked in Pennsylvania and will work elsewhere. I can see the billboards now: “Hillary Clinton. Not as Bad as You Think.”

But do not give up the kitchen sink stuff, Senator. Make it a Good Hillary/Bad Hillary kind of campaign.

Good Hillary talks about the dreamy, gooey, feel-good stuff, like when, in your victory speech from Philadelphia Tuesday night, you said: “We are, in many ways, all on this journey together to create an America that embraces every last one of us. … I believe with all of my heart that together we will turn promises into action, words will become solutions, hope will become reality.”

But Bad Hillary can’t go away. You have to have the Hillary who says Obama is “elitist” and “demeaning,” and you have to keep running ads that portray him as the guy who won’t be able to protect us from the Great Depression, Pearl Harbor, long lines at the gas pump, Osama bin Laden or ringing telephones.

And speaking of Osama bin Laden, isn’t he a Muslim? And didn’t Bad Hillary say Obama was not a Muslim “as far as I know”? Keep up that subtle stuff. It is gold.

And then, of course, bribe the superdelegates. These are the 794 party insiders who have one standard for all their decisions in life: “What’s in it for me?”

So offer them something. You know how many interstate rest stops there are? They have to be named for somebody. And promise the holdouts that they will be appointed ambassador to Bermuda. It doesn’t matter that they all can’t be ambassador to Bermuda, because we don’t have an ambassador to Bermuda. (Say it was Bill’s idea.)

And even if you can’t get ahead in the delegate count, don’t stop running!

Go to the convention in Denver and chain yourself to the front door of the Pepsi Center and refuse to leave unless every resident of Florida and Michigan — not just the rogue delegates but all 26 million residents! — is seated inside and gets to cast a ballot for you.

What’s the worst that could happen? Howard Dean comes out and bites you on the ankle? Forget about it. I could carve a tougher guy out of tofu.

But most of all, Sen. Clinton, never give up, never surrender.

And remember: There’s always 2012

How I must measure and temper every word and action to avoid management repurcussions, while white female subordinates are free to freely speak their mind without consequence.

HRC did get 150K votes in Philly, no doubt due to Nutter and the pay us for votes crew..40K vote swing to Barack and we have a diff narrative.

We need to be more dilligent in expressing our rejection of Billary.

The more I get into where I’m at right now at this particular point in time, and also thinking about what people are writing here …. the more I find my attention focused on the Democratic Party and its leadership. Even more than the Clintons and even more than the media, and certainly more so than “the white we mean um ‘regular’ blue collar voters.”

JJ said, I knew there was no getting this race done with not just because of Hillary but because the party elders, superdelegates and DNC didn’t want to.

Part of it is fear of the CLintons but the BULK of it is they want this Black guy to “prove” himself. I’ve said on any number of occasions if Obama was white he would hav elocked this thing up a long time ago.

I keep trying to console myself with “the numbers” and “he’ll win the nomination eventually” but it isn’t working for me.

The whole thing is making me sick at a deep level and this such a huge part of why.

Here there is this amazing quality leader who is stepping up and saying he is willing to take on this intense job at a very very difficult time. And, he is willing to do it under the banner of the Democratic Party.

And at the same time there is this obviously corrupt person who wants to be president for the power, to be one of “history’s (imperial) actors” — creating reality, as discussed in an earlier thread here — and she is attacking as she is.

And to me the sane response to this kind of situation from the Democratic Party should be to not only actively have the back of this high quality leader, but also at the same time to step up and say to Hillary Clinton, as loudly and publicly as need be, with no confusion about it at all: “What you are doing is over the line, it is not acceptable to us, and you can’t do this and be part of our party. Period.”

But no. Instead it is this dynamic of supporting her white privilege and of “prove it to us Black guy.”
And in this white supremacist logic, it also somehow becomes valuable to have Ms. Hillary on the attack against someone in her own party.

It toughens Senator Obama up, does it? Bull. Shit. To me it seems that if his own party had his back and was doing the right thing to start with, this kind of nonsense would not be necessary for a minute. Offer him the resources of the party and assist him that way, okay?

Here’s how I get in situations like this, it’s always the same for me: I always want so much to flip the dynamic on its head. So now I am internally personally tired of accepting the power dynamic of “suck up to the superdelegates” and “hope the Democratic Party does the right thing.”

But as I see it, the Democratic Party leadership should be freaking grateful that someone with Senator Obama’s skills and abilities and ethos is willing to run for president under their party’s not-necessarily-deserving banner. They should be grateful and they should back that up with action in support of what he is doing and where he is going.

Instead they are letting him do all the heavy lifting while they sit back and judge his worth and act like they would be doing him a favor to grant him their special nomination.

And if he does get the nomination and if he does become the president, the Democratic Party gets the credit (look a Democrat is now president) without having to do the work to make it there, and in fact having made the work so much harder than it had to be and should have been.

Tomorrow, I’ll find the DNC email addresses and send that comment to them as Felicia said I should (I’m just going to google it so if anyone has better info please post the email here and I’ll use/add that). But you know, I really don’t have faith that they will care. Because I think they have been running this power dynamic all along. Anyway, if I get any sort of answer I’ll post it in a comment here.

But where my attention goes is with wanting so bad to flip the dynamic (even if I don’t know if its possible that is what I end up yearning for in situations like this). I want Democratic Party leadership etc to be under active scrutiny and actively judged by the people it is currently failing in a way that puts it on trial.

As I see it, it is failing tests left and right in this campaign season. It is failing to proving itself worthy of what it will get if Senator Obama is president under its banner, and it needs to do better.

What leverage is there for this, I don’t know because I am terrible at movement strategy, always have been.

At the time, I didn’t fully process or understand what he meant. Obama’s up about 155 pledged delegates over Hillary, and she gained, what, nine? How can that have “restored balance” to the race? I chalked it up to the media rooting for a horserace, but remained uneasy. The quote stuck in my mind.

I mean, there’s something almost “Star Wars” about that quote, isn’t there? That “the Force” was “out of balance” before Hillary’s Pennsylvania win, but her win has “restored balance” to the Force.

Your post made me understand just what the Force is. The “out of balance” situation that existed before Pennsylvania was that a black man was winning the nomination. The Pennsylvania win “restored balance” to the race — now things are as they OUGHT to be, with the contest “momentum” possessed by a white First Lady whose husband brought home $109 million over the last 7 years.
