While Joe Klein is a shill for anybody-but-Obama, it’s guy like Jack Kemp who will ultimately catch President Obama’s ear. As conservative Republicans go, Kemp has some “street cred” with Black policy makers and economists.

I say this because Barack — Democrat that he is — isn’t as far left as some suggest. He’s got a real pragmatism about him, and would listen very carefully to someone like Kemp.
