For 20 years, Barack has attended Wright’s church, listened to his weekly sermons, entertained him in his home. Yet, says Barack, he never heard any racist rants at church, nor was he aware that Wright held so poisoned a view of his country.

Sorry, that is not credible. Wright is a famous preacher in black America, and Barack’s denial he was aware of his views marks him down either as a dissembler or a man so obtuse he ought not be a security guard at Wal-Mart, let alone president of the United States.

It is easy now to understand why Michelle Obama, before Barack began to win, had never once been proud of her country. Who could be proud of the America that lives in the malignant imagination of the Rev. Wright?

Barack has now moved to separate himself from Wright’s rants and removed him from the campaign roster. And he will likely be forced, with anguish, to turn his back on, repudiate, and reject his beloved friend and teacher.

But it is too late for that. For Wright has, for millions of Americans, filled in the blanks about Barack. Wright tells us the kind of company Barack keeps, the kind of men he holds close, the kind of attitudes and beliefs he finds acceptable, if not congenial.

You need to watch the tape again.

I do know that her not being able to answer that question should have made her reconsider interrupting him.

They work until the advertisers that pay for them to speak start to lose money.

Most of these screaming matches that pretend to discuss politics are rehearsed. They know they’re playing smack down games. Writing in just confirms that the verbal Gladiator games are working – for the ratings. None of it is serious.

You’re right! Kelli Goff did tell that old racist pig, Pat Buchanan, not to speak to her in that way & that it was inappropriate!

Kelli was in no way rude. She was clearly on a mission as was every black journalist who was interviewed or participated in a debate on resided on a panel over the days surrounding the Ferraro remarks understandbly outraged.

Hats off too them for speaking out against Ferraro’s comments even if they had to struggle to make their points over some loud, fast-talking moderators and panelist who were clearly trying to leave an impression that there wasn’t nothing racist about the Ferraro comments.

Kelli told Pat Buchanan not to speak to her in that way, but you could barely hear her because he was talking over her. I didn’t hear it until I heard it a second time.

The whole pundit scene needs a change, they are all as boring as watching pant dry, meek or too loud.

And, I dare pat, Geraldine or Hillary to don dark makeup and try and be black for one hour in any town in America, they would be having seizures by the end of the day. the only black people who never have to deal with the sting of racism are Clarence Thomas and Condoleeeza Rice, both of whom deny that there is or ever has been anything racist in this country, where we are all treated the same.

In fact, their speaking over him, against the moderator’s wishes, was their way of telling him to “shut up”.

Again, both were rude. In my opinion, Buchanan telling Goff to “shut up” had nothing to do with race. Even Dan Abrams tried politely to nudge her to allow his guest to speak, but she kept bumping her gums. Buchanan is an asshole, but Goff was not exhibiting herself as a saint either.

Like I said, both of them were wrong.

Remember back in the day when we had programs on BET like The Bev Smith Show and Ed Gordon and Tavis Smiley and the roundtable of men discussing men’s issues? Then there was Teen Summit to address issues young people face. Fast forward to BET today and it’s all music videos and/or Church or infomercials.

Even Rachel called him out on it but leave it to Terrence to be the “voice of reaon” and agree with the disrespectful proven racist!

Pat Buchanan continuously spoke over Keli just as he does everyone who attempts to make a point opposite of his. I think Abrams was telling Pig to let her speak.

In fact, if you pay closer attention, you would notice that the commentators continuously try to direct the conversation in a way that makes their point. There is almost always an apparent directive for the tone of the discussion.
