Mexican-Americans tend to be more anti-black than other Latino groups. However, Mexican-Americans will vote for a black candidate if that Black candidate is a democrat going up against republican as Mexican-Americans tend to vote democratic.

But the issue with the upcoming Texas primary is that Hillary Clinton is truly a viable alternative to black Barry. Go around Houston in the largely Mexican-American neighborhoods and Hillary signs are popping up.

This is why Barry lost Cali and Arizona. Mexican-Americans love Hillary (The Clintons) – overwhelmingly.

Note that he was a co-sponsor of the Campaign Reform Act of 2002, which sought to prevent the questionable campaign funding practices that laid at the heart of the Keating scandal.

I though this election was about the future.

As soon as Obama is the nominee, the tone of his campaign will change, and all the Kossaks will creep out of the fever swamp to slime McCain and Obama will get dirty too. So much for a new kind of politics.

No defections. No word of in-fighting. No dirtyness. No scandals.

They just keep piling up victories from coast to coast and top to bottom.

I was at the McCain victory party last night, and I didn’t hear anything in his speech that would constitute “gloom and doom.” An acknowledgement of the true problems we face as a country is not “gloom and doom.” Would that all our politicians could be so straightforward.

I’ll save my analysis of his speech for my blog, but I do want to point out one part that goes back to some commentary from a previous posting here.

“I do not seek the presidency on the presumption that I am blessed with such personal greatness that history has anointed me to save my country in its hour of need. I seek the presidency with the humility of a man who cannot forget that my country saved me.”

Not for his ambition, not for the prestige of the office, but because 41 years ago, this country gave all it could to save him. And he feels he should give no less.

Also, the contrast between Obama and McCain — stark! He’s running against hope. As DailyKos noted, too bad he’s not as good at the gloom and doom speech as Cheney.

Don’t think that Bond garbage got by me. Yeah, his Uncle Tom ass will be called out soon.

Exit polls have been adjusted, baby! He won the White and Latino vote in Virginia!

The weather was shit…took me about 3 hours to make what’s normally a 15-20 minute drive.

My mom (down in Richmond) said that a couple of polling places ran out of ballots. And people waited. For three hours.

Complete craziness.

U might want to calm down a bit..lol.

Here’s thing: It’s one thing to lose it’s another to take a BEAT DOWN.

She just took a thumping. Losing by the margins she’s losing by Texas may not matter.

She’d have to beat him 2 to 1 for it to really matter and I don’t think she does that.

I don’t believe in counting chickens before they’ve hatched..but damn.
