thanks to both anons for your responses. as i said in my post, the story seemed to be bs to me and was wanting to see if others had heard about it/could share additional info. you misunderstand me if you think that i’m using this blog to spread attacks for clinton. never that. i am an obama supporter and come here for more information regarding his campaign and the election in general.

Mint Julep. The Sinclair thing is obviously a fraud. He's filed his lawsuit pro se, i.e. he is representing himself. If there was a shred of truth to this either the Clintons or the RNC would be pumping him with cash and getting the best attorneys out there. That's what the RNC did with Paula Jones.

I encourage you to read the complaint he filed in federal district court. It's laughable, non-sensical, and littered with errors. Pretty much what you would expect.

b-serious, she won’t do that at the convention. Her best return for that scenario is to steal those delegates at the state conventions and state legislature ratification of caucus delegates. It is the caucus delegates that are susceptible to her and as one person who was on the ground in Washington told us, Obama supporters caucused and left and many of his delegates were actually Clinton supporters because they were the only ones who stayed until delegate designations were assigned. I think an avid Clinton supporter who was designated an Obama delegate because there were no Obama supporters remaining around the precint would be easily inclinded to “get stolen” at the state conventions and legisl. meetings. Just saying.

There’s a news report on Politico.com (as well as Huffington Post and TPM) that Clinton plans to go after Obama’s PLEDGED DELEGATES. That’s right. Not just the super delegates, but the Pledged delegates as well – you know . . . the ones Obama already “won.”

mint julep, are you serious? I apologize for my skepticism but my first thought upon reading your post was that Clinton hacks are being marshalled across the web to plant this name/rumor with an air of curiosity just to start up some -ish. I know a few crackheads that would be glad to say Clinton did blow with them during the 70's and she would only have to pay them $20 ... in the case of one he'll do it for 50 cents.

The point is that sellouts have sold out for far less than promises of money/power in the past and our people having had such disparate lack of opportunities are more susceptible. If she wants to portray him as an addict then what does that make her? A woman who is such an ineffective leadear, such an unprepared manager, such an idiot that she is getting her butt kicked for the highest office in the land by a druggie? We have some serious crabs in the black community, the giant species at that.

Using black blogs to spread her attacks, well whatever we have to do to get ahead. Afterall, if the black blogs start the spinning of lies, mainstream media will feel less hesitant to jump on board a spin machine even one that is likely false. We are his firewall. If we become pawns, if we get used, if we get duped, he loses. We are his ONLY firewall!

Clinton Black Caucus members and other black elected Clinton supporters are planning to get buck wild if necessary with their constituents. “Bring it on” says one who plans to take on his voters and encourages the others to do the same. They really don’t think Black folk have the attention span to take care of political business … historically they are right and they are counting on this apathy again.

The one thing that totally baffles me about the HRC camp is that do they really think this woman is the type the public will elect? her negatives far out weigh any of her positives. I think the country is ready for a woman, just not this woman. Sorry, I don’t even know if Obama is able to be elected, even though, I hope he is, he does not have half the baggage she has, and, nor does he make you love or hate him like she does. With HRC, there is no in between feelings about her, and, on election day, it will show, more hate her than are willing to give her a chance, even with her highly vaunted “experience.”

Off topic, but…

Hillary is guilty of much worse than the trifling attack of “plagiarism” she accuses Barack of.

Here’s one example, a quote from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette published last month.

“Indeed, Mrs. Clinton made some of the same arguments Sunday in New Hampshire when she defended her earnest speaking style by saying, in an indirect reference to Mr. Obama, “you campaign in poetry, you govern in prose.”

That particular political maxim was first uttered in a 1985 speech at Yale University– by [former New York governor Mario] Cuomo.

“She didn’t attribute it to me, although it’s in Bartlett’s Quotations and they did,” the former governor said, laughing.”

What is interesting about Hillary’s “lifting” of the Cuomo line is that unlike Barack, Hillary didn’t check with Cuomo first. Deval gave Barack the permission to use that line before Barack used it. Cuomo never was asked permission. In case you don’t know, “Barlett’s Quotations” is a famous book cataloging quotations from a wide variety of people. Cuomo’s saying was well-known enough to get published in this book. Yet Hillary didn’t attribute it. I can’t say whether that’s plagiarism but I do know it’s worse than what she accused Barack of.
