One of the major flaws that I see in arguments like this is the lack of background information. If a comedian wishes to get on SNL, he or his manager must lobby for it relentlessly. It is quite possible that not very many black comedians lobbied for it, or those who did happened to not make the cut. I of course do not know this, I am not an SNL insider, but it is a question that should be asked. Assuming that the absence of blacks equals racism is a terribly dangerous stance to take. Following that logic, virtually every town Wisconsin must be racist, because there are barely any black there.

P.S. Kenin (correct spelling?) is on SNL, and I think he is hilarious!!!=)

Me: body-politic.blogspot.com
