He's part of the activist journalism group that used to be prevalent but is not. But, we need him and others like him, as allies, to root out the stories that need the spotlight. It can't be easy, being on a corporate newspaper these days, so let's just give thanks to him and those like him, and hope that they get to keep their jobs for as long as they want to and can do stories that are so fundamentally grassroots and about justice.
