Dayum skippy on chattin up everyone you know. Consider yourselves EVANGELISTS.

I'm usually indifferent/dispassionate about certain topics, but when I start thinking about what the Clintons DID, TRIED To DO, and MAY Have DONE, I become a Brimstone & "Mighty-Burnin' Fire" preacher...don't let me get a few drinks in me neither.

The President of NY N.O.W. made a complete ass out of herself! Not only is the premise of her argument insane and frankly anti-feminist, they were offensive in how similar they were to Elizabeth Cadey Stanton's words after the 15th Amendment was passed, saying that White women shouldn't have their suffrage rights instituted before the "illiterate sambo". When she used the term "new guy", we know what the hell she meant, NIGGER.

Jack, don't feel bad. I had the exact same reaction to watching Stephanie Tubbs last night. She looks like an aged Cabbage Patch Doll. Her make-up dates back to the 80's. And her facial contortions are annoying as hell. So I guess I'm mean too. :-)

I've been chatting up every motherfucker I know, and telling them to do the same, and apparently it's happening all over because this morning:

Obama has pulled within 3 points here in California.

6 points nationwide.

12 points on her home turf of NY.

And this morning, there's an article in the NYT about Bill's shady play-for-pay dealings with the brutal dictator of Kazhakstan...

And there are still FIVE DAYS to go!

If Barack Obama used gender against Clinton in the way she used race against him, he'd be dead.

This is so true.

She's playing the White Woman's VICTIM Card to the hilt, and is another reason why:
1. I'll never vote for her.
2. I don't have any respect for Black women who support her. Yeah, it's gotten to that.

Miss Anne ain't studdin' about yo' Black Ass. When she disrespects Obama like that, she's disrespecting your GRANDFATHER, FATHER, HUSBAND, SON, AND NEPHEW.

And, in case you don't know...she's disrespecting YOU TOO.

Tubbs needs to give it up, because the knot in that Handkerchief gets tighter and tighter everytime I see it.

The NOW group is in a snit trying to make a gender issue about the picture of Hillary shaking hands with Ted Kennedy and Obama is turned the other way. Chris Matthews talked about it last night and had some woman on saying it could be indicative of how Sen. Obama would treat women's issues. Another commentator said Obama needs to be careful about being perceived as ungracious. I was so angry. Hillary was shown saying her hand was "still extended and she hoped to shake his hand soon." What a joke, that woman will say any cheap remark to get elected....she wasn't looking to shake Sen. Obama's hand, she is taking advantage of this "fake" so called snub. Over the past year I have read about 2-3 journalists who have stated that Hillary started snubbing Barack in public during Senate sessions as soon as he started an exploratory for the presidency. Plus I have read there have been other instances which Maureen Dowd has mentioned. After reading the following I would ask, what in the world do people expect him to do, keep trying to force himself on her, behave like a masochist so she can keep insulting him. Here is one excerpt and especially check out the last sentence.

"by Jeff Zeleny in NYT (8/3/07)

The relationship began to change, according to several Democrats who are friendly to both senators, when Mr. Obama began musing aloud about a presidential bid. The day he opened his exploratory committee, several Senate observers said, he extended his hand and said hello on the Senate floor. She breezed by him, offering a cool stare.

One week later, following the State of the Union address, the two senators found themselves doing a back-to-back interview on CNN. Mr. Obama went first, with Clinton pacing a few feet away. Finally, an aide escorted her completely around the rotunda of the Russell Senate Office Building, avoiding walking directly by Mr. Obama.

Many Senate observers, even those close to Mrs. Clinton, say they believe she set the less-than-collegial tone........."

Wow. Those students hit the bullseye when they noticed the different ways in which gender and race play in this campaign. I'm going to try and write about it this weekend on my blog.

I keep on saying that Hillary's campaign has a strong "us v. them" quality to it. It's like Bush . . . "Either you're with us or you're against us!" All for political gain.

Hillary has played off of the "woman power" message in ways Obama could NEVER benefit from talking about "black power." Hillary keeps talking about the old boys club (as if the obstacles of exclusivity somehow don't apply to the only BLACK man in the Senate). Could you imagine the backlash Obama would get if he came in front of the cameras and started talking about White institutions and White exclusivity?

All I know is this. Hillary and Bill spend months spewing racially coded language at Obama through their surrogates and it's still a DEBATE as to whether or not Obama should have the right to feel offended. But Obama looks in Hillary's direction at the SOTU and he's "staring down" Hillary Clinton. He says "your likeable enough" at a debate and people say "we don't like your tone of voice." He has the audacity to not be standing at attention, waiting to bow to Hillary at the SOTU and all of a sudden he's "snubbing" her. Remember Rick Lazio? He "invades her personal space" and people go crazy. They're trying to do that to Obama.

Hillary benefits when people see her as the victim. They want to protect her. But mainstream America has no natural inclination to PROTECT black men or rush to a black man's defense. On the contrary, we're seen as the threat, not the victim.

Gloria Steinem plays the gender card in her (intellectually dishonest) op-ed piece a few weeks ago. The National Organization for Women cries BETRAYAL of all women just because Kennedy had the audacity to endorse Obama over Clinton. Could you imagine the backlash against Obama if the NAACP came out attacking people like that?

Divisive politics as usual.

http://reachblack.blogspot.com/
