I agree with BAB. It is certainly an impediment and has been for the last two election. The power in the GOP to "win" (steal) elections is enormous. The GOP has it down and will go to any lengths to win. The Dems should be alert to any and all tactics and monitor all polls. The US can conduct an election, of course but it's time the Dems go all out to monitor and protect all polling sites. As far as offense goes--I would hate for them to cross the scuzzy line to win like the GOP does. This issue is very real, people. I agree with BAB.
