It's just talk; talk whose purpose is to rile up Black supporters of Obama, while simultaneously turning off White voters who are either uncommitted or uninitiated in the sphere of race.<br/><br/>So in this instance, Obama is doing exactly what it is he needs to do. He's demonstrating that an all-out throw-down over every racial comment that's made to or about him, is not only counter-productive, but that won't be so easily distracted by it ... which is probably the criticsm you'd be leveling had he responded in the fashion you desire.
