"give me 10% of your money (tithes) and i will show you how to get rich!" HA HA HA! LMBAO! imagine giving $1 for every $10 you make to someone who offers you NOTHING in return... it's almost like a Stupid Tax (can you be THAT stupid to pay it?).<br/><br/>Prosperity Preachers? More like Prosperity Pimps! These charlatans teach you how to line their pockets, and wallpaper their mansions, and fuel their jets, and PIMP their Bentleys with YOUR MONEY!<br/><br/>i know people who attend the two churches in Atlanta (World Changers & New Birth) ... they speak of having to turn in paycheck stubs & W-2 forms before you can join the church, they talk of NEVER EVER being able to speak to the "pastor" unless you are a "BIG TITHER", they talk of how these preachers will say that "Jesus wasn't poor... and he doesn't want me - uh, i mean, you - he doesn't want you to be poor." i've driven by Eddie Long on the highway while he was cruising along in his silver Rolls Royce! i was at one of their New Year's Eve services about 10 years ago (this was the LAST TIME i attended his church) when dude likened himself to Jesus! my wife and i looked at each other... and at the first opportunity, got the HELL outta there!<br/><br/>these guys are blasphemers and outright crooks, taking folk's hard earned money in the name of a God that they don't even worship. as the Rikyrah stated, there is something gravely wrong with these churches, this isn't the type of Religion and God that i was raised on... i'd rather spend sunday morning at the Waffle House with my daughter rather than give those crooks my money... these preachers are a JOKE… well, a rich joke! “give me 10% of your money (tithes) and i will show you how to get rich!” HA HA HA! The pastor of her church flies around in a jet and she is perfectly fine with that. I told her there isn't anyplace any pastor needs to be that a commercial flight can't take him. These guys and girls are hosing down innocent people while the surrounding communities that house their churches are in shambles or members of the congregation can't even pay their own mortgage. I say it's about time someone looked into this. Why can't they drive a nice 700 series Benz? Why must they push the limits and get a daggone Phantom?? That's crazy to me! He makes decisions based on principles. Principles don’t change. You have to stand for something and not change who you are based on the polls. That is what Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani have done and all of the Democrats do it. Give me a leader that will stand by his principles anyday versus someone that stands for everything.<br/> <br/>I know many Republicans and conservatives that will stay home if Rudy Giuliani is the candidate.
