This article actually made me sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, my gut feeling is telling me that some of these children were meant to be sold as slaves. I travel to Europe often and Canal 5, BBC and Al Jazeera always report stories on kidnapped Africans who escape enslavement from some rich Arab or European family.
It pisses me off so much that this group of people are going under the guise of a charity.

Many Black and African adult adoptees are speaking out about this drama in Chad. Its a huge connection to not only the other ‘baby lifts’ by well meaning white folks who sell black, yellow and brown children to white parents, but also a huge connect to the way in which domestic and international adoption are very much a part of the global racial political landscape.

This story is sickening to read, and as stated in the column, is all too common for Africa. My only hope is that the French and Spanish "Aid Crews" get to spend a lot of time in an African prison or they get to spend enough time in the hands of angry villagers; whatever will cause them to suffer more.

The violence and corruption of Africa by outside forces, including the United Nations, needs to stop. It's my hope that enough people will read stories like this and finally get to a place where they are willing to step up and do something positive.

Thank you for posting this very important story.

I often think that African-Americans does feels ashamed by the Africans.

And I was waiting to see if any A.A. blogger will post this.

This really show how stupid we Africans play with the Europeans.
Europeans can do whatever they want to Africans, and we will sit down still, muted.

And this is a proof that caring for yourself and your own kind instead of blaming others, does pay.
They take care of themselves no matter what, while we make fool of ourselves.

First, the Europeans were purposely infecting the African children with the HIV virus and now they’re kidnapping them. SMH.

BTW, didn’t something similar happen with the Aboriginal children in Australia back in the ’50s and/or ’60s?
