Even the slightest link to a story on a popular blog can be a big deal. We have to stop ourselves from being like the mainstream media. We have to keep our stories at the forefront even if other people claim doing so is racist (its so annoying when they say that. Its like you have to listen to the news that we give you even if it is never positive news about you). I'm feeling optimistic right now though. I agree that Black-owned media is important.
