Madonna goes to an orphanage, to find her newly adopted son. What does the media do? They go and find the biological parent. You think they did that because they actually care about the biological parent or little David? Hell no.

What do you think would happen if these White celebrities began adopting Black American Babies? You don’t think that some folks wouldn’t try and find the biological parents? You don’t think that they’d begin instigating like that?

I honestly believe, outside of the racial component of them going to China, India, Korea, etc. is the fear of having the kid taken away. Don’t discount that fear.

It’s not cut and dried.

While in my ideal world, Black children would be adopted into loving Black families…..

I’m not willing to force that child to wait YEARS while ‘The System’ stumbles around to find that family, which is the reason why I’m not against trans-racial adoptions, though I do believe the parents should agree to a year long training about cultural issues, chief among them – HAIR. NO Black girl should be adopted by a White family without that family PROVING that they know what to do with Black Hair. I’m not even saying that they have to put chemicals in the child’s hair, but they MUST know how to nuture and design that girl’s hair so that she won’t look ridiculous.

Hell, the National Association of Black Social Workers managed to guilt trip white folks crying “white adoption is genocide against blacks!” until almost every state refuse to let white folks adopt black babies.
